Family
I have a beautiful wife, Erica, and three wonderful kids. My wife plays a very important role in my life. She’s an encourager, and nothing I create is not influenced by her in some way or another. Her thoughts about my stories keep them consistent and grounded. Other fun sources of inspiration are my sons Micah and Jonah and my daughter Emerald, who are all fully engaged in the worlds I create.
Hobbies
What you see on this site is what I enjoy doing the most: being creative. I have always been a storyteller. I also appreciate the outdoors (more on the relaxing side than on the sportsman side). I enjoy being around large groups of people and learning about them. Cultures fascinate me, especially their food!
Education
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Central Michigan University and my Master’s from Saginaw Valley State University.
