Thank you to everyone who supported Mick Art Productions over the last year! It was quite an amazing ride and a blessing to see my business grow for yet another year! Without my readers, gamers, and fellow cooks (from my spices), we never would have seen this kind of growth! Thanks to Curt Coker and Chuck Bailey for helping bring the world of Scales & the Marshtones to life! It is my second highest-selling book behind Journal of an Outlaw book 1. I guess a lot of my readers are big music fans too!
This year we released Journal of a Lounge Lizardman (Scales), a cool dice tower that we put together with my pal Andy Schiller at Drakenstone, a Heavenly Handbomb, and the most popular one of all, the Pet Jelly Cube. Andy is amazing. Our collaborations have proven to be quite a hit this year!
The year’s highlight was visiting Lake Geneva at the Dungeon Hobby Museum and seeing where TSR first began! I got to sit next to Ernie G. Gygax, Jr., as he DM’d my group through a 1st edition campaign; talk about a lifelong dream! I made a lot of connections here, and over the next year, you’ll see some amazing things start to happen.
It was also rough this year as my father, Mickey, went home to be with the Lord. He had been my sales buddy since 2009 and was my biggest cheerleader. A lot of my fans got to meet him and share some laughs. He, too, had a crazy sense of humor. He loved meeting everyone, and his presence is sorely missed. I love you, dad, and you will always be remembered!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I will post my vision statement for 2023 after the new year begins. See you then!
